As a child, Jared Lewis loved spending time with his father (who was also a contractor); a pencil tucked behind his ear and toy drill in hand, eager to learn all there was to know about home building. Jared is grateful for the specialized skills and strong work ethic he learned from his dad. He brings the same craftsmanship and value to every project he completes.
While serving as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, Jared gained invaluable life experience. He was awarded a Combat Action Ribbon and presented with the Presidential Unit of Citation for his service. The leadership ability and self-discipline he learned while deployed is evident in every aspect of his life and work.
After completing military duty in Iraq, Jared returned to his roots in the home-construction industry. He earned his general contractor license in 2005 and started his first company, Jared Lewis Construction. He obtained a Lead Renovator Certification from the EPA and a Green Building Certification from Build it Green. He also attended training through PG&E, where he learned how to optimize the home building process for maximum comfort, safety, and energy efficiency.
